> > (1) [*\[Section 22 Subsection (1) amended by No. 64 of 2002, Sched. 1, Applied:31 Dec 2002\]*](/view/html/inforce/2002-12-31/act-2002-064#JS1@Ja19@GC8@Hpa@EN) The Secretary must prepare a listing statement for any taxon of flora or fauna specified in [Schedule 3](#JS3@EN) , [4](#JS4@EN) or [5](#JS5@EN) as soon as practicable after that taxon is listed.

> > (2) The listing statement is to specify –

> > > > (a) a description, the distribution and the habitat of the taxon; and
> > >
> > > > (b) its conservation status with reasons; and
> > >
> > > > (c) management objectives; and
> > >
> > > > (d) management issues; and
> > >
> > > > (e) actions that need to be taken for the purposes of management and conservation of the taxon; and
> > >
> > > > (f) threats to the taxon; and
> > >
> > > > (g) any information relating to the taxon that is available in published references.
