5 Transitional

(1) In this section: former code means the Therapeutic Goods Advertising Code (No.2) 2018, as in force immediately before the commencement of this instrument. transition period means the period beginning on the commencement of this instrument and ending on 30 June 2022. (2) Despite the repeal of the former code made by this instrument, that code continues to apply for the duration of the transition period in relation to an advertisement about therapeutic goods, such that requirements specified in the former code may continue to be complied with, as an alternative to the requirements specified in Schedule 1.
