#### 30EIA What is the period of a medicine shortage? The period of a shortage of a medicine in Australia is the period: (a) starting on the day the supply of that medicine in Australia will not, or will not be likely to, meet the demand for the medicine for all of the patients in Australia who take, or who may need to take, the medicine; and (b) ending on the day before the day the supply of that medicine in Australia will, or will be likely to, meet that demand.
