202Protection from criminal or civil actions

#### 202 Protection from criminal or civil actions (1) No action, suit or proceeding (whether criminal or civil) lies against a protected person in relation to anything done, or omitted to be done, in good faith by the person: (a) in accordance, or purportedly in accordance, with this Act; or (b) in the performance, or purported performance, of TEQSA’s functions; or (c) in the exercise, or purported exercise, of TEQSA’s powers. > Note: This section extends to, for example, a thing done in good faith in accordance with a delegation under section 199. (2) The protected persons are as follows: (a) the Minister; (b) a Commissioner; (c) a member of the staff of TEQSA; (d) a Commonwealth authority; (e) a person who holds any office or appointment under a law of the Commonwealth; (f) a person performing a service for TEQSA.
