#### 44 Making of emergency detention orders 44 Making of emergency detention orders > > (1) The Supreme Court may make an emergency detention order if it appears to the Court that the matters alleged in support of the application for the order would, if proved, establish that because of altered circumstances, the eligible offender poses an unacceptable and imminent risk of committing a serious terrorism offence if the emergency detention order is not made. > > > (2) The Supreme Court is not to make more than one emergency detention order in respect of the same occasion of altered circumstances.
