4M Public Interest Monitor to be given access to documents related to police detention decisions and periodic reviews For the purposes of performing a function or exercising a power under section 4K, a Public Interest Monitor may have, and must be given, access to any document or information relating to a police detention decision or the conduct of a periodic review kept by— (a) the authorised police officer who made the police detention decision; or (b) the nominated senior police officer who conducts the periodic review.
