13 Appointment of members
(1) The members of the Corporation are to be appointed in writing by the Minister, on a part‑time basis. (2) A member holds office for the period specified in the instrument of appointment. The period must not exceed 4 years. (3) The Minister must not appoint a person as a member unless the Minister is satisfied that the person: (a) has suitable qualifications or experience; and (b) is of good character. (4) The appointment of a member is not invalid merely because of a defect or irregularity in connection with the member’s appointment.
