93A Function of conservation officers and honorary conservation officers (1) It is the function of conservation officers and honorary conservation officers to assist the Director with the management of parks, reserves, sanctuaries and areas of essential habitat and with the conservation of wildlife. (2) Aboriginal rangers are recognised as being highly qualified for providing the functions of conservation officers because of their traditional, cultural and technical skills.
