5 Management of land formerly held by Reserves Board (1) Notwithstanding the repeals effected by section 3 but subject to this Act, land that immediately before the commencement of this Act was committed to the care, control and management of the Reserves Board under section 13(1) of the National Parks and Gardens Act 1959 continues to be committed to the care, control and management of the Commission as though that Act had not been repealed but the Commission had, by virtue of this Act, assumed the assets, rights and liabilities of the Reserves Board. (2) The commission of an area of land, or of a part of an area of land, to the Commission may be revoked in like manner to the manner in which the commission of an area of land or of a part of an area of land to the Reserves Board could have been revoked immediately before the commencement of this Act.
