#### 2 Commencement (1) Each provision of this Act specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. and</span></p><p class="Tablea"><span>(c) if, under section</span><span> </span><span>577GA of the </span><span style="font-style:italic">Telecommunications Act 1997</span><span>, the excluded spectrum regime applies to Telstra, and no declaration is in force under subsection</span><span> </span><span>577J(3) of that Act—the time when an undertaking given by Telstra under section</span><span> </span><span>577C of that Act comes into force; and</span></p><p class="Tablea"><span>(d) if, under section</span><span> </span><span>577GA of the </span><span style="font-style:italic">Telecommunications Act 1997</span><span>, the excluded spectrum regime applies to Telstra, and no declaration is in force under subsection</span><span> </span><span>577J(5) of that Act—the time when an undertaking given by Telstra under section</span><span> </span><span>577E of that Act comes into force.</span></p><p class="Tabletext"><span>However, if the provision(s) do not commence within the period of 6 months beginning on the latest of:</span></p><p class="Tablea"><span>(a) the time when an undertaking given by Telstra under section</span><span> </span><span>577A of the </span><span style="font-style:italic">Telecommunications Act 1997</span><span> comes into force; and</span></p><p class="Tablea"><span>(b) if an undertaking given by Telstra is in force under section</span><span> </span><span>577A of the </span><span style="font-style:italic">Telecommunications Act 1997</span><span> and the undertaking requires Telstra to give the ACCC a draft migration plan and, in accordance with the undertaking, Telstra has given the ACCC a draft migration plan—the time when the ACCC approves the draft migration plan under section</span><span> </span><span>577BD, 577BDA, 577BDB or 577BDC of that Act; and</span></p><p class="Tablea"><span>(d) if, under section</span><span> </span><span>577GA of the </span><span style="font-style:italic">Telecommunications Act 1997</span><span>, the excluded spectrum regime applies to Telstra, and no declaration is in force under subsection</span><span> </span><span>577J(5) of that Act—the time when an undertaking given by Telstra under section</span><span> </span><span>577E of that Act comes into force;</span></p><p class="Tabletext"><span>they commence on the day after the end of that period.</span></p><p class="Tabletext"><span>An expression used in this table item that is also used in the </span><span style="font-style:italic">Telecommunications Act 1997</span><span> has the same meaning in this table item as it has in that Act.</span></p><p class="Tabletext"><span>Subsections</span><span> </span><span>577BD(5), 577BDA(4) and (6), 577BDB(5) and 577BDC(4) of the </span><span style="font-style:italic">Telecommunications Act 1997</span><span> apply to this table item in the same way as they apply to the </span><span style="font-style:italic">Telecommunications Act 1997</span><span>.</span></p></td><td style="width:68.4pt;
