#### 26 Definitions
In this Division, unless the contrary intention appears:
> ACA means the Australian Communications Authority.
> ACCC means the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission.
> asset means:
(a) any legal or equitable estate or interest in real or personal property, whether actual, contingent or prospective; and
(b) any right, power, privilege or immunity, whether actual, contingent or prospective.
> AUSTEL means the Australian Telecommunications Authority.
> instrument includes a document.
> liability means any liability, duty or obligation, whether actual, contingent or prospective.
> merging time means the beginning of 1 July 1997.
