Commonwealth legislation
This Determination names and defines the section of the telecommunications industry called “public number directory publishers”: entities that publish and maintain public number directories. It repeals the 2007 Determination and relies on definitions in the Telecommunications Integrated Public Number Database Scheme 2017, but does not itself create operational obligations or fees. It matters because it identifies which businesses fall into a regulatory category; any duties or costs arise from the linked schemes rather than from this instrument alone (secs 4–8, 5).
