7.1 Items manufactured or imported before 1 July 1997 that meet the requirements of TS 001‑1993
(1) This section applies if an item: (a) was manufactured or imported before 1 July 1997; and (b) meets the requirements of standard TS 001‑1993. (2) The supplier: (a) must ensure that the item displays the label that was applied to the item under the labelling arrangements in force immediately before 1 July 1997 to show that the item complied with the applicable standards; and (b) may also display the compliance mark on the item.

(3) This section ceases to apply at the end of 30 June 2001.
