#### 69 State authority may ask not to receive information under section 68 (1) The chief officer of an eligible authority of a State in relation to which no declaration is in force under section 34 may, by writing given to the chief officer of another agency, request the other agency not to communicate information under section 68 to the eligible authority. (2) A request under subsection (1) remains in force until: (a) the chief officer of the eligible authority revokes the request by writing given to the chief officer of the other agency; or (b) a declaration is made under section 34 in relation to the eligible authority. (3) Where a request under subsection (1) is in force, section 68 does not permit an officer of the other agency to communicate information to an officer of the eligible authority.
