Commonwealth legislation
This Act has been repealed and is no longer in force. It is retained for historical reference.
This instrument temporarily exempted Australian Government departments and agencies from needing a telecommunications carrier licence to use the New South Wales Government Radio Network operated by the NSW Telco Authority. It meant section 42 of the Telecommunications Act 1997 did not apply to Commonwealth use of specified NSW line links and radiocommunications facilities for public purposes; the exemption expired on 1 January 2019.
