Part 1 Introduction
For the purpose of paragraph 3.1 (2)(a) of the Telecommunications Cabling Provider Rules 2000 (the Rules) the competency requirements in this document have been published by the Australian Communications Authority (ACA). The competency requirements for open, restricted and lift cabling types are detailed.
These requirements are the basis on which the Australian National Training Authority (ANTA) via their Industry Training Advisory Bodies (ITABs), will develop competency standards and related training for cabling, within the Australian Qualifications Framework and Australian Recognition Framework.
