#### 94 Exemption from definition—electricity supply bodies (1) If the sole or principal use of a carriage service is use by an electricity supply body to carry communications necessary or desirable for: (a) managing the generation, transmission, distribution or supply of electricity; or (b) charging for the supply of electricity; subsection 87(1) does not apply to the service. (2) In this section: > electricity supply body means an authority, or a body corporate, that carries on a business, or performs a function, of: (a) generating, transmitting, distributing or supplying electricity; or (b) managing the generation, transmission, distribution or supply of electricity.
