##### 278 Surrender of cabling licences (1) A licensee may, at any time, surrender his or her cabling licence by: (a) returning it to AUSTEL; and (b) giving AUSTEL written notice that it is surrendered. (2) The surrender of a cabling licence takes effect (unless the licence is sooner cancelled): (a) if the notice of surrender specifies a day on which the surrender is to take effect—at the end of that day; or (b) in any other case—on the day on which the notice is given.
