##### 218 Deemed refusal of applications etc. (1) If, at the end of 30 days after an application for the variation of a class licence is made, AUSTEL has not accepted the application, AUSTEL is taken, for the purposes of section 220: (a) to have refused to accept the application on the last day of the 30 days; and (b) to have informed the applicant accordingly on that day. (2) If, at the end of 30 days after an application for the variation of a class licence has been accepted under subsection 215(3), AUSTEL has not varied the licence, AUSTEL is taken, for the purposes of section 220: (a) to have decided, on the last of the 30 days, not to vary the licence; and (b) to have informed the applicant accordingly on that day.
