##### 168 AUSTEL may set up advisory panel (1) AUSTEL may by writing establish a panel to advise it on a matter connected with an arbitration if AUSTEL considers that it would benefit by obtaining the panel’s advice on that matter. (2) The instrument establishing a panel must specify, as the persons who are to constitute the panel: (a) for each party to the arbitration, at least one person nominated by that party; and (b) at least one person of a kind referred to in paragraph 405(a), (b) or (c). (3) AUSTEL may give a panel written directions about: (a) how the panel is to perform its functions; and (b) what procedures the panel is to follow in relation to meetings.
