##### 118 National Code binding on carriers (1) This section applies where a regulation in force because of subsection 116(1) entitles a carrier to engage in an exempt activity despite particular laws of a particular State or Territory. (2) The carrier must, so far as it engages in that exempt activity in that State or Territory, comply with the National Code in force under section 117, so far as that Code applies in relation to that exempt activity and makes provision in respect of any of the matters in respect of which those laws make provision.
