34 Interim certificate of registration pending Board decision (1) An applicant for registration may apply to the Director for the issue of an interim certificate of registration pending the Board deciding the application for registration.

Teacher Registration (Northern Territory) Act 2004 21 (2) If the Director reasonably believes the Board is likely to grant registration to the applicant, the Director may issue an interim certificate of registration to the applicant. (2A) The interim certificate of registration must be in the approved form but may be issued in a way decided by the Director (including, for example, electronically). (3) The interim certificate of registration is in force from the date it is issued to the date the Board considers the applicant's application for registration.
