9 Effect of taxi licence

(1) A taxi licence authorises the responsible operator of the taxi licence to operate a taxi service under and in accordance with this Act.
(2) There are 4 kinds of taxi licence as follows:
(a) a perpetual taxi licence – see Division 2 ;
(b) an owner-operator taxi licence – see Division 3 ;
(c) a wheelchair-accessible taxi licence – see Division 4 ;
(d) a temporary taxi licence – see Division 5 .
