40 Issue of wheelchair-accessible taxi licences

(1)  The Commission may issue a wheelchair-accessible taxi licence.

(2)  [Section 40 Subsection (2) amended by No. 63 of 2009, s. 7, Applied:01 Jan 2010] [Section 40 Subsection (2) substituted by No. 61 of 2011, s. 23, Applied:01 Jul 2013] On issuing a wheelchair-accessible taxi licence, the Commission –

(a) may impose such conditions on the licence as it considers necessary or expedient; and

(b) is to specify, in the licence, the vehicle that may be used under the licence.
