26 Time as at which tax liability is to be assessed (1) A tax liability is to be assessed by reference to the provisions of the relevant taxation law as in force when the liability arose. (2) However, the Commissioner must have regard to judicial decisions, affecting the interpretation of the relevant provisions, delivered since the tax liability arose.
