17 Protection from liability (1) A tax officer incurs no personal civil or criminal liability for anything done, or omitted to be done, in good faith in the exercise, or purported exercise, of a function under a taxation law. (2) This section does not affect any liability the Territory would, apart from this section, have for the act or omission.
