sec.59 False or misleading statements
A person must not state anything to an official that the person knows is false or misleading in a material particular. Maximum penalty—200 penalty units or 2 years imprisonment. In this section— official means— the chief executive; or an authorised officer; or the commissioner. s 59 amd 2016 No. 62 s 438 (sec.59-ssec.1) A person must not state anything to an official that the person knows is false or misleading in a material particular.
