sec.49 Production of authorised officer’s identity card
An authorised officer may exercise a power under this division in relation to a person only if the officer first produces or displays the officer’s identity card for inspection by the person. If, for any reason, it is not practicable to comply with subsection (1) , the authorised officer must produce the identity card for inspection by the person at the first reasonable opportunity. (sec.49-ssec.1) An authorised officer may exercise a power under this division in relation to a person only if the officer first produces or displays the officer’s identity card for inspection by the person.
