Tasmania regulation
This order renames several Tasmanian government departments and restructures the State Service by merging whole departments and specified parts of departments into newly named departments. It takes effect when its making is notified in the Gazette.
It affects the listed departments, agencies and the administrative allocation of their functions, staff and assets. It matters because it changes which department is legally responsible for particular services and which administrative employer and portfolio hold those functions.
