Tasmania regulation
This order renames the Department of Education, Community and Cultural Development to the Department of Education, Training, Community and Cultural Development and amalgamates the Department of Vocational Education and Training into that newly named department (section 3). It takes effect on 6 May 1998 (section 2) and is administered by the Department of Premier and Cabinet; it therefore changes departmental structure and which agency administers those functions.

This order takes effect on 6 May 1998.
(1) The name of the Government department known as the Department of Education, Community and Cultural Development is changed to the Department of Education, Training, Community and Cultural Development.
(2) The Department of Vocational Education and Training is amalgamated with the Department of Education, Training, Community and Cultural Development.
Displayed and numbered in accordance with the Rules Publication Act 1953.
