### 32 Directors of port companies > > (1) The appointment of a person as a director of a port company is revoked on the day the company is deregistered under the Corporations Act. > > > (2) A person is not entitled to any compensation or other payment in respect of the revocation of an appointment under [subsection (1)](#GS32@Gs1@EN) despite anything to the contrary in his or her instrument of appointment.
