Tasmania regulation
These regulations make two practical changes. They give the Tasmanian Health Service (THS) a formal duty to help patients and their escorts travel to, and be accommodated at, places where they will receive health services (reg 4), and they take effect from 1 July 2018 (reg 2).
The regulations also declare the document titled “Service Plan”, signed by the Minister on 9 November 2018, to be the THS service plan for 2018–19 and to have applied from 1 July 2018 (reg 5), giving that plan legal effect and directing THS operations.
