### 15B Consultation with Minister > *\[Section 15B Inserted by No. 76 of 1995, s. 12 \]* > > > (1)  In the course of preparing a draft corporate plan, the Board must consult with the Minister in relation to the interests of the State as a whole and the long term objectives of TDR and its subsidiaries. > > > (2)  The Minister may give a direction to the Board in relation to a long term objective of TDR and its subsidiaries. > > > (3)  Subject to [subsection (4)](#GS15B@Gs4@EN) , the Board must comply with a direction if it is in writing and signed by the Minister. > > > (4)  A direction has no effect in respect of a contract entered into by TDR before the direction was given if compliance with the direction would result in TDR failing to perform the contract.
