This Order makes a technical amendment to the Major Infrastructure Development Approvals (North West Transmission Upgrades Project) Order 2020. It takes effect when notified in the Gazette and cites the Major Infrastructure Development Approvals Act 1999.
The Minister has determined (cl.6) the amendment does not change the 2020 Order so as to require Parliamentary approval, and the amendment has been incorporated into the authorised version. The immediate practical effect is an administrative update to the instrument governing the project, affecting the project proponent and agencies that apply the Order.
