Tasmania regulation
This proclamation mechanically reclassifies specific named roads: Schedules 1–3 list roads that stop being subsidiary roads, roads or portions that become subsidiary roads, and newly declared developmental roads with route descriptions and lengths. It was notified in the Gazette on 30 September 2015 and is administered by the Department of State Growth.
The change affects the Department of State Growth and any parties whose maintenance, ownership or regulatory duties depend on a road’s legal classification, because those duties follow the road categories set out under the Roads and Jetties Act.
