Proclamation under the Nature Conservation Act 2002 In Force TAS
Jurisdiction Tasmania
Act Number 52 of 2011
Collection regulation This proclamation formally declares specific parcels of land as State Reserves under the Nature Conservation Act 2002. It lists ten named reserves (with area descriptions for some parcels) and attaches mapped plans. The Department of Primary Industries, Parks, Water and Environment administers the proclamation; it was notified in the Gazette on 29 June 2011.
Mechanically, the listed parcels gain the legal status of State Reserve, bringing management and use decisions under the administering department and creating legal limits on private development or use of those parcels.
