Tasmania regulation
This proclamation formally declares particular parcels of land as conservation areas under the Nature Conservation Act 2002, using mapped lots recorded in the Central Plan Register. The Department of Primary Industries, Parks, Water and Environment is named as the administering authority. Landowners, developers and other resource users of the affected parcels will face new limits on land use and compliance obligations; the public sector will carry management and planning responsibilities and associated costs. The changes rest on plan references, mapped lot boundaries and Gazette notification.
