Tasmania regulation
This proclamation, made under the Local Government (Building and Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1993, formally declares the Mt Canopus Water District and attaches a plan showing its boundaries (Schedule 2). It was notified in the Gazette on 5 November 2008 and is administered by the Department of Premier and Cabinet.
The instrument mechanically creates a named water district with an official map; it therefore affects the legal definition and administration of that local service area and signals which government office is responsible for its records.
