Tasmania regulation
This proclamation formally designates the Pirates Bay area as the "Pirates Bay Nature Recreation Area" under the Nature Conservation Act 2002 and publishes its management plan (Schedule 2, map). The designation was notified in the Gazette on 14 November 2007 and administration is assigned to the Department of Primary Industries and Water. Mechanically, the proclamation brings the Act’s regulatory framework and the published plan to bear on that land; it does not itself specify operational rules or fees, which remain in the Act and the Schedule 2 plan.
