Tasmania regulation
This proclamation formally declares Forsyth Island and Storehouse Island to be conservation areas under the Nature Conservation Act 2002 and records their boundary plans in Schedule 2 (Schedules 1–2; Gazette 23 April 2003). It is administered by the Department of Primary Industries, Water and Environment. Mechanically, the designation brings those islands within the Act’s conservation-area regulatory regime, so land users, site managers and anyone seeking to do activities there will be subject to the Act’s requirements (Schedules 1–2).
