Tasmania regulation
This proclamation declares ten named parcels of land as conservation areas under the National Parks and Wildlife Act 1970 (Schedule 1) and publishes the matching maps and plans (Schedule 2). The Department of Primary Industries, Water and Environment is identified as the administering agency; the declaration gives the listed areas legal conservation status, affecting land managers, visitors and nearby landowners by imposing management obligations and restricting some uses (Schedules; Gazette notice 26 December 2001). Compliance costs fall to those who use or manage the land.
