Tasmania regulation
This proclamation under the National Parks and Wildlife Act 1970 formally declares specific parcels of land as protected historic sites and state reserves and attaches the official site plans. It makes those lands subject to the Act’s management framework and places administration responsibility with the Department of Primary Industries, Water and Environment. Practically, the government (the Department) decides the sites’ legal status and publishes the boundary plans; land users and managers must follow whatever restrictions and management actions flow from that status.
