Tasmania regulation
This proclamation formally establishes the Port Sorell Conservation Area under the National Parks and Wildlife Act 1970 and attaches a numbered plan (map). It affects land users, visitors, nearby residents and the Department of Primary Industries, Water and Environment by changing the land’s legal status and assigning management responsibility. By altering legal status it creates management and enforcement duties for the administering department, may limit certain activities on the land, and imposes compliance obligations on users.
