[Section 7 Amended by No. 22 of 2007, s. 23, Applied:01 Feb 2008] Except as otherwise provided by [the Code](# JS1@EN) or an Act, proceedings in the Supreme Court against any person for a crime shall be initiated by indictment, and shall be prosecuted in accordance with the provisions of the Code relating thereto.
