Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

This order revokes Tariff Concession Order 9605933 and replaces it with Tariff Concession Order 0614013 for imports described as MCPA acid, its salts and esters, moving the tariff classification from 2918.90.00 to 2918.99.00. The replacement takes effect 1 January 2007.

Importers of those chemicals must rely on the new concession (Schedule 4 item 50); the change was made by a delegate under s.269SD(2) of the Customs Act 1901, so customs classification, duty treatment and import documentation may need updating.
