Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

This instrument revokes an existing tariff concession order for certain industrial vacuum cleaners and replaces it with two new tariff concession orders that reclassify those goods under different tariff headings. The change takes effect from 1 January 2007. Importers who relied on the revoked concession must apply the new classifications and the Schedule 4 concession treatment (item 50) from that date; the decision was made by a delegate of the CEO under s.269SD(2) of the Customs Act 1901.
