Plain English Summary

3/10 complexity

This instrument, made under section 269SD(2) of the Customs Act 1901, revokes Tariff Concession Order 8808907 and replaces it with TCO 0614172, reclassifying “gibberellins and preparations based thereon” from tariff heading 3808.30 to 3808.93.00 and applying Schedule 4 item 50, with effect from 1 January 2007. It affects importers and customs officials by changing which tariff concession and classification apply, so duty liability, eligibility for the Schedule 4 concession and import documentation may change.
