Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

This instrument revokes Tariff Concession Order 0110706 (granular chlorpyrifos insecticides, tariff 3808.10.90) and, effective 1 January 2007, substitutes Tariff Concession Order 0614062 which classifies the same goods as 3808.91.90 and applies Schedule 4 item 50. Made by a delegate of the CEO under s269SD(2) of the Customs Act 1901, it changes the legal basis for customs treatment of these imports. Importers and customs officers must apply the new tariff classification and Schedule 4 item for declarations and duty treatment from that date.
