This order cancels the 1994 tariff concession for certain flat alloy steel bars, so importers of bars under 150 mm wide, 3.25–50 mm thick and up to 10 m long lose the reduced-duty treatment. From 1 May 2007 those imports attract the standard Customs Tariff (7226.91), a change made under section 269SC of the Customs Act 1901 as local production now supplies equivalent goods.

The Revocation has effect from 01.05.07.
