This Order treats imported "nappy caddies" made of polyurethane imitation leather (with or without a change mat) as goods covered by item 50 in Part III of Schedule 4 to the Customs Tariff Act 1995, so they receive the Schedule 4 concession. It took effect 30 September 2011 and remains until revoked. The decision was made under s.269P of the Customs Act 1901 and can be revoked under ss.269SC or 269SD. The immediate effect is to reduce the tariff payable on these specific imported goods, affecting importers, downstream sellers and potentially prices and margins.
